Certification
The Level One course is open to everyone regardless of experience. The 220-hour certification program exceeds the Yoga Alliance requirements and graduates earn the title of KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
As a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, you will be trained in the tradition passed on by Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, to carry the legacy of Kundalini Yoga into the Aquarian Age. By teaching Kundalini Yoga you link in the Golden Chain, the subtle connection between you and the legacy of teachers which goes back in time to the sacred source of the teachings of Kundalini Yoga.
Certification Requirements
The KRI Teacher Training team reserves the right to grant KRI Certification solely at their discretion and the evaluation of each participant’s readiness to be a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Evaluation is based on successfully meeting the KRI Teacher Training course requirements including, but not limited to:
Course Requirements:
- Complete Pre-Course Forms
- Attend 20 or more Kundalini Yoga classes taught by a KRI certified instructor in your area.
- Attend ALL 180 hours of classroom instruction ( required make up for missed sessions)
- Participate in 5 required morning group Sadhanas
- Complete homework and in-class activities
- Receive satisfactory assessments for practicum
- Complete 2 Curriculum projects: create your own workshops
- Attend a day of White Tantric Yoga or an intensive day or days of group meditation
- Pass a written exam
- Full payment of Course Fees
Cancellation Policy

For all cancellations KYI must receive your written request for a refund mailed to Raj Yoga, 1238 Upas Street, San Diego, CA 92103 or faxed to (619) 574-1897 or emailed to meherbani49@gmailcom.
Refund Policy:
A refund of 75% of the total course fee will be returned if the student discontinues the course up until the start of the second weekend. There are no refunds following the start of the second weekend.
Course Cancellation Fees:
All fees and completed requirements may be applied within one year of the start date to our Level One Teacher Training courses for a $250 re-activation fee. Full re-enrollment is 50%
The course is a vegetarian environment. It is also drug free, cigarette free, and alcohol free. We reserve the right to request anyone not following the course policies to leave the course.
